Holladay Lions Recreation Center Expansion
Address: 1661 East Murray Holladay Road
Narrative:
The existing Holladay Lions Recreation Center was completed as part of the ZAP Funding in early 2000. With renewal of the ZAP funding, this facility will be expanded to become a full-service recreation center to accommodate the ever increasing needs of the community.
The new addition and remodeled areas will be integrated with the existing building to provide a unified facility. A new entry and control area will provide better oversight and management of the facility. The remodel and new construction will continue to support adaptive sports programs. New programmed areas will include: a wet classroom/party room, drop-in daycare, basketball gymnasium, indoor running track, office and storage space, and additional parking.
The facility is being designed to perform at an increased level of energy performance in both remodeled and new areas.
